The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him was keen to maintain people's health physically and psychologically. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) recommended consuming Talbinah saying: "Talbinah is soothing to the patient's heart, relieving sadness" (Saheeh al-Bukhari).
Talbinah is a soup made from bran, and called this name because it is similar to milk's white color and soft texture, which is a prescription that reached us from our Prophet peace be upon him due to its many benefits. And has a role in treating psychological disorders, such as depression.
Talbinah is high in magnesium and potassium, which has an effect on neurotransmitters in the brain that relieve symptoms of depression. It also contains amino acids such as: Tryptophan, which supports the action of a neurotransmitter called serotonin (happiness hormone), which greatly affect mood.
